Ms. Jenkins is a Labor & Employment Attorney at the law firm of Littler Mendelson P.C. which is the largest labor and employment law firm in the U.S.

Before Littler, she was a Labor Relations Manager & Arbitration Attorney for United Airlines, Inc. In that role, she served as lead counsel in grievance proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations to ensure that collective bargaining agreements and disciplinary procedures were consistently enforced across company divisions.

Ms. Jenkins formerly served as General Counsel of Teamsters Local 700 and before that she served as Senior Attorney for the Chicago Transit Authority, where she represented the Authority in complex employment lawsuits and labor matters. Before CTA, she served as Labor & Employment Counsel for the Illinois Department of Central Management Services, representing over 20 Illinois state agencies in labor arbitrations involving employee discharge or contract disputes. Ms. Jenkins is also a former Assistant Attorney General, where she practiced civil litigation.

Ms. Jenkins is also the immediate past president of the Cook County Bar Association (CCBA), which is the oldest association of African American lawyers and judges in the nation, founded in 1914. She was the youngest woman president in the organization’s history.

Ms. Jenkins received a B.A. from Hamilton College in 2007 and a J.D. from UIC Law School in 2012. Moreover, her experience as a legal advocate in both the public and private sector allow her to zealously advocate on behalf of her clients.

In her spare time, she loves to travel, cook and spend time with her family.
