Melissa Auerbach is a partner with the Chicago law firm of Dowd, Bloch, Bennett, Cervone, Auerbach & Yokich, LLP. She represents public and private sector labor unions in all aspects of litigation before federal and state trial and appellate courts; before state and federal administrative agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, the Illinois Labor Relations Board and the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board; and in labor arbitrations. She also advises unions with respect to organizing campaigns and collective bargaining. She is a member of the Illinois bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Seventh, Third, Tenth, and District of Columbia Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois (Trial Bar), Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, and Eastern District of Wisconsin. She is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. She received her B.A. from Yale University and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
