Jason Van Tatenhove, raised by artists and computer programmers, gravitated toward Colorado's punk and grunge scenes. His literary hero was Hunter S. Thompson, and when he had a chance to embed with the most infamous militia of our day, he jumped at the opportunity, wanting to write his own Hell’s Angels. He created the Colorado Switchblade, a regional news outlet that includes writing and podcasting. Now a frequent guest on CNN, MSNBC, and others, he was a key witness during the televised hearings of the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol.
