Administrative Judge Georgia Vlahos was appointed to the Merit Systems Protection Board in February 2014. Prior to her appointment, she served in the Office of the General Counsel of the Navy at Great Lakes, Illinois for more than twenty years and for eight years in private practice with law firms in Columbus, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois. Judge Vlahos holds a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Northern University.
