Erica Hamrick is the Deputy Chief of the Hatch Act Unit at the U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC).  She has worked at OSC since 2002 and has been Deputy Chief of the Hatch Act Unit since 2008.  Ms. Hamrick is responsible for investigating allegations of Hatch Act violations, litigating Hatch Act cases where OSC has determined that a violation warrants prosecution, and providing federal, D.C., state, and local government employees, as well as the public at large, with legal advice on the Hatch Act. 

 

Ms. Hamrick received her Juris Doctor with honors from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C.
