Administrative Judge Dorothy L. Moran was appointed to the Merit Systems Protection Board, Central Region, in 2008. Prior to joining the Board, she was an attorney with the U.S. Postal Service in Chicago. She is an experienced mediator, arbitrator, and attorney with over 35 years of labor and employment experience in the federal state, and private sector. From 1994-1996 she was an associate with the law firm of Patrick A. Salvi in Waukegan, Illinois. She received her J.D. degree from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. Ms. Moran has served on numerous boards including the Women’s Board of Lurie Children’s Hospital, the Allendale Shelter Women’s Board and as a trustee for the Lake Forest Country Day School.
