Carlos Arévalo is a partner at Klein, Thorpe & Jenkins, Ltd. with over 20 years of experience.  He represents public and private sector clients in the areas of labor and employment law and local government law.  Carlos advocates for his clients in state and federal courts, in administrative agencies and in arbitration and collective bargaining proceedings.  Carlos has been active in leadership for the Illinois State Bar Association Local Government Law and Labor & Employment Law Section Councils having served a past chair in both.  He sits on the board of directors for the Friends of McHenry County College Foundation, the Regional Board of Mercyhealth System and is a Past-President of Stateline SHRM in McHenry County.  He has also served in the Legislative Committee for IPELRA and is a member of the Leadership Greater McHenry County Class of 2013.  Carlos frequently speaks on labor and employment issues at the state and local level and is honored and pleased to once again serve as a panelist at the Illinois Public Sector Labor Relations Law Conference at Chicago-Kent.
